Orlando City Select World Class FC Alum Antonio Matarazzo in 2016 MLS SuperDraft
Former World Class youth player Antonio Matarazzo was drafted in the third round of the MLS Superdraft by Orlando City FC. Subsequent to his years as a World Class youth player coached by current WCFC coaches Erol Tambi and Elbrus Tambi, Antonio did play for a season with the U19 team of the German professional club FC Nurnberg, before returning to the US and having a stellar collegiate career as a student athlete at Columbia University, where he was honored as an All Ivy League Selection.
On being selected by Orlando City, Antonio did say "...this is an exciting time and I feel especially privileged to have the opportunity to play with Kaka (former FIFA World Player of the Year).
On his time with World Class, Antonio said "... I appreciate all the support and development which World Class provided to me over many years."
